I just got my oil change and check up before we go driving around for the holiday season. James and the team at Wilmette always do a great job explaining everything and with a quick turnaround. Happy customer for years here. I recommend all my family and friends work with Heart Auto Care! Peace of mind and professionalism are well worth the price there

Came in for a standard oil change. Jason and Ben at the front desk were polite and friendly and got the work on my car started. They noticed some other things that needed to be addressed and gave me the estimate with the price breakdowns as well as photos of the areas of concern. They were able to get my oil changed quickly. It's hard to find mechanics that you trust, and I feel like I can with this shop.

A few weeks ago I went there for an oil change and had a very pleasant experience. It is clean, professional,. And today I went there with a concern with my car. It had a loose heat shield. It took them only about 10 minutes to diagnose it and fix.... And no charge.... Nice!!

Great customer service, fast oil change + included inspection. This is my first time here but they feel trustworthy, which is not the case for some other mechanics in Wilmette area. I will be returning for additional needed maintenance/repairs in the future.

Auto repair doesn’t have to be stressful. We’re here to guide you.
Most luxury vehicles, like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Lexus models common on the North Shore, require a full synthetic oil that meets the manufacturer's specific certification standard. At HEART in Wilmette, we check your owner's manual and use the exact oil spec your vehicle calls for, whether that is a European-formula synthetic or a high-mileage blend.
Absolutely. Many Wilmette families bring two or three vehicles in on the same day. Just let us know when you call or walk in, and we will line them up so everything gets done in one trip. It is the easiest way to keep your whole household on the same maintenance schedule.
You’re always welcome to stop by our Wilmette shop on Green Bay Rd—no appointment needed. Most oil changes are done the same day 98% of the time. If you want to lock in a time and be sure we can get you in, you can book an appointment or give us a call at (847) 251-3888.
Yes. Every oil change at HEART Certified Auto Care is backed by our 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. That is a guarantee most quick-lube shops and dealerships simply do not match. If anything related to our work needs attention, we will make it right.
The short answer: check your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended interval. For most modern vehicles, that is every 5,000 to 7,500 miles with synthetic oil. Signs you are overdue include a dark or gritty dipstick reading, an oil change dashboard light, a louder-than-usual engine, or a burning oil smell. When in doubt, stop by, and we will check it for free.
Stop by our Wilmette shop or call our team. We’re here to help keep your vehicles running reliably.
