I LOVE this auto repair place! They were so nice and fixed my car in one day! In fact, I am 74 years old with lots of car repairs in my life! This was the very best customer and repair service I have ever received! If you ever need car repairs they are the best!

The staff is helpful and upbeat! Sometimes they can even fit in the work on your car when they are super busy if it’s not too big a job! They have kept my 1996 Toyota Camry running in tip top shape for years! And the prices are reasonable! I highly recommend them!

The service at Heart Auto was thorough and diligent In diagnosing my worrisome headlight problem, which could have been fairly minor or could have been very expensive. I especially appreciate their approach to try fixing the minor problem first to see if it holds. It did, my budget thanks you.

HEART is the best! They really understand what customer service means and they bring it to every interaction with their customers. They take the time to explain things, provide you choices and options so you can make prudent decisions about your vehicle AND your budget decisions. Across our family we have 6 vehicles of all different vintages and they take care of all of them. From the manager of the Wilmette store to the mechanics to the person who fields the incoming phone calls to the person who drove me home one day… they all exemplify customer service… and are fun, caring individuals too! Well folks, it happened. My previous dealer serviced Audi A3. One morning on my way to work. My Audi started having some engine trouble. My first thought was to limp her home and then call Heart Auto And tell them I would drop her off after work. Long Story short. Heart Auto got the Audi running like new. She needed a few things to get her running right. And it only took a half a day.I could not be happier. Put your mind at ease. Service your car before she breaks down. Bring it to Heart.

After a repair at the first auto shop, our car developed additional problems, and we suspected these new issues were caused by the initial repair. We turned to Heart Evanston last week, where the manager, Ernie, patiently explained their findings and confirmed that the new issues were indeed related to the first repair.Ernie recommended that we return to the first auto shop to have the mistakes corrected, saving us money. We’re incredibly grateful for Heart Evanston’s professionalism! Their good heart has certainly earned them a new customer!

The work is Excellent. Te Staff over the phone to the visit to drop the car off were Professional, Frienhly & Customet Service oriented, especidd as on Jayson and the Managet, Frank.The Northbrook store suggested I try the Evanston or Wilmette store as they were unable to get the car in, right away. They advise all 3 locations had the same quality work & friendly workers. They were correct.

I’ve been a Northbrook HEART customer for over 5 years, 2 different cars and a change in their ownership. This shop is the best! Whether it’s oil changes, tire rotation, new tires or new brake pads I’ve had the same straightforward, honest, comprehensive service and care. You leave every visit with a printout of work done as well as work that they recommend in the future. NO hard sell, just a team that clearly enjoys their work and wants their customers to leave happy. Love these guys with Armando at the helm.

I want to share my second experience with the amazing team at Heart Certified Auto Care in Wilmette.A few weeks ago, my car stopped completely, and I had to have it towed to Heart. The next day, they diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately, I have a warranty with CarShield (which I would not recommend), and instead of allowing Heart to order the part locally, CarShield insisted on sending the part themselves.Ben, who handled my case, worked tirelessly to coordinate with them. My car ended up being at Heart for a week before the part finally arrived, only for it to be broken. Another part had to be sent, and when it finally came in on a Friday, the team worked feverishly to get my car ready before the weekend. They knew CarShield wouldn’t cover a rental past seven days, so they did everything they could to help me.Mr. Frank was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating during the whole process. Then, when my engine light came back on a short time later, Dimitri took over as my case manager. He effortlessly got the repairs done, kept me informed, and had me back on the road quickly.From Ben’s clear communication and honesty, to Dimitri’s kindness and professionalism, to Mr. Frank’s patience and respect, everyone I worked with at Heart was exceptional. Danny was friendly and helpful when I called, and the young woman in the office (a college student whose name I sadly forgot) became a familiar, friendly voice after the many times I had to call.This is truly a kind, respectable, and informative team that does everything with excellence. If you’re looking for the best auto service in the North Shore, I highly recommend Heart Certified Auto Care on Green Bay Road in Wilmette. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll be back whenever I need service in the future.

(1) FYI: Please note that the cost of an oil change may be significantly higher than the advertised promotional rate of $89.95 for vehicles requiring European synthetic oil. The advertised price typically does not include labor, additional fees, or the cost of extra oil—especially since these vehicles usually require significantly more than 5.5 quarts.(2) Additional Experience: After the oil change, I experienced an issue with my car possibly related to the oil change. I took it to HEART, where the manager was very professional and helpful in resolving the problem. The company also scheduled some additional work to do related to the issue, which I appreciated.

As Heart Auto Care in Evanston is closer to my home, that is where I have taken our 2013 Toyota Prius Hybrid. But finding the Evanston location booked solid, they let me know the Heart facility in Wilmette had an opening & was nearby, also on Green Bay Road. My daughter & I were able to dodge rain & enjoy lunch in Wilmette at EvaDean’s Bakery & Cafe, then had fun visiting Pink Couch, a newly-opened romance-only (!) bookstore, while the Heart technician performed a synthetic oil change. Dmitri at Heart kept me informed about the progress & also got my approval for the technician, who had noted the coolant was low, to add coolant, important for a working a/c. Dmitri honored two Heart coupons for discount on the oil change & labor. Despite the heat wave we’ve had, the car is running smoothly & a/c is juiced! Tip: if you have time to wait for service, Homer’s Homemade Ice Cream (& hot dogs!) is a short walk north, but not open until the afternoon on Fridays. Awesome flavors!
